Playing Offsides

Cameron

Two things I never thought I’d say:

My future is hanging by a thread and Aspen Rossi might be the only one who can save it.

One bad grade away from losing my scholarship, I’m desperate enough to ask the one girl on campus who can’t stand me for help.
She’s brilliant, focused and completely immune to my charm.

She says this is just tutoring. Strictly academic.
But the more time we spend together, the more I see the fire beneath all that control.
And I want nothing more than to be the one who sets it free.

Aspen

Cameron Sawyer is everything I avoid—loud, reckless, hot in a way that’s seriously distracting… and definitely not my type.
So when he asks me to tutor him, I say no.
That is, until I realize helping him could pad my medical school applications.

It’s only for one semester. One semester of tutoring him and we can go our separate ways.

But Cam is full of surprises and under all that confidence is a guy who’s real, loyal, and completely throwing off my carefully laid plans.
We come from different worlds. We want different futures.

So why does it suddenly feel like he’s the one thing I don’t want to leave behind?
